Gewiss is looking for a Testing Engineer to be included in the Test Laboratory Department, dealing with EMC laboratory activities for the development and certification of electromechanical and electronic products for the automation of civil, residential and industrial electrical systems, and for electric vehicle charging systems.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Carrying out, at the laboratory, EMC tests of products to ensure compliance with the reference standards;
• Drawing up, according to the different product families, the relevant EMC test plans and documentation with the results of the tests carried out
• Manage new product development activities by supporting other departments
• Manage non-conformities and related EMC failure analysis and define appropriate corrective and preventive actions
• Manage test activities in collaboration with suppliers and external EMC laboratories to ensure compliance with reference standards

• Conduct operations aimed at continuous improvement of both processes and products.

REQUIREMENTS

• Degree in electronic engineering, electrical engineering, or equivalent technical training;
• Knowledge of AGILE working methods
• Excellent problem solving skills and ability to contribute to finding solutions
• Good teamwork skills
• Good presentation and communication skills
• 3/5 years' experience in a similar role (EMC testing laboratory)
• Good knowledge of the English language;
• Willingness to make short trips and travel to other Gewiss group sites;
• Analytical skills, organised, goal-oriented and problem-solving approach.
