Gewiss S.p.a. is seerching a Data Integration Engineer to join the Digital Transformation and Information Systems Department. The role involves developing increasingly advanced integration between the Group's processes, contributing to the realization of a technologically advanced application architecture and innovative data platforms.

The candidate will be part of a dynamic team and will have the opportunity to work in an innovative and challenging multinational environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Contribute to defining models, architectures, and organization of company data.

• Translate business requirements into technical specifications, including data flows, integrations, transformations, and databases.

• Design, develop, and implement ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) data flows to transfer data between internal and external systems.

• Collaborate with software developers, data analysts, application experts, and infrastructure specialists to define integration requirements and ensure data consistency.

• Optimize data flow performance and resolve integration issues. • Create and maintain data pipelines for batch and real-time processing.

• Monitor and manage integration processes to ensure data reliability and security.

• Ensure controlled and segregated access to information.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or similar field.

• Experience in business intelligence and predictive analysis projects.

• Experience in designing and developing ETL data flows. • Familiarity with major data integration solutions (e.g., Boomi, SAP DataService, etc.).

• Familiarity with major data platform solutions and types (Datawarehouse, Datalake, Datalakehouse, Database, etc.).

• Knowledge of SQL query languages, scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java).

• Preferable familiarity with data visualization and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Qlik, etc.).

• Ability to manage multiple projects in structured contexts.

• Collaboration and teamwork skills.

• Problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to listen to and understand business requirements.

• Effective communication skills with all business lines.

• Initiative and determination to achieve results.

• Curiosity and proactivity in continuous learning to offer appropriate and innovative solutions.
