Reporting to the external production manager, he will assist him in general operations and strategy development. He will supervise the suppliers. The job requires leadership skills, problem solving, knowledge of products and processes and safety aspects. He will collaborate with his manager in promoting continuous improvement and play a concrete role in ensuring and supporting the growth of the company. It will support external schedulers in ensuring compliance with agreed production plans.

 

Main responsibilities:

  • Sharing and implementing the production capabilities necessary to comply with company planning, monitoring and analysis of results.
  • Management and maintenance of single-phase and multi-phase processing cycles of products managed by contract suppliers.
  • Balance of make vs. work account based on the planned workloads.
  • Coordination of activities, with other company departments, for outsourcing/insourcing of make productions.
  • Shared management with Industrialization and Internal Production of processes and activities, defining coherent choices in terms of safety, asset management, maintenance, change management, etc.
  • Planning and management of the production start-up of new products or tests/samples at suppliers in accordance with the road map activities
  • Research and evaluation of potential labor suppliers in line with the company strategy.

 

Professional skills and qualifications:

  • Ability to work both independently and in a team.
  • Ability to effectively use office tools, in particular MS Excel and PP SAP knowledge (preferred requirement) Flexible, innovative and tireless Good knowledge of English
  • Availability to travel in Italy and abroad
  • Degree (even three-year) or Technical Diploma
  • Minimum experience in supplier management preferred
