Purpose of the Position:

 

The candidate will be integrated into the Research and Development Department of the Installation Business Unit, focusing on the design and definition of technical characteristics of finished products. The main responsibilities of the position include:

  • Executing, based on product specifications, the design of new products and the review and improvement of existing ones.
  • Providing data and specifications for defining the technical specifications of products and materials for purchase and manufacturing.
  • Creating construction drawings of products and their components.
  • Verifying, with the help of laboratory tests, compliance with the required technical specifications.
  • Ensuring that the developed products comply with the regulations in force in various countries of interest.
  • Compiling, based on final projects, the relevant bill of materials.
  • Transmitting necessary information to Product Quality for defining control plans.
  • Supervising manufacturing tests at internal departments or external workshops, ensuring compliance with the design and proper execution.

 

Required Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Industrial Design, or equivalent technical education with knowledge of technical drawing.
  • 5/10 years of experience in the design and realization of plastic artifacts and/or mechanical/electromechanical products.
  • Knowledge of plastic materials and transformation technologies.
  • Good knowledge of CAD (preferably CATIAV5).
  • PLM knowledge (preferably Enovia).
  • Knowledge of finite element simulation.
  • Knowledge of aesthetic surface modeling.
  • Good proficiency in the English language.
