Within the Product Quality Department, Gewiss is seeking a Continuous Improvement Quality Engineer dedicated to analyzing, developing, and implementing improvement activities aimed at ensuring the achievement of the company’s quality objectives.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The individual, reporting directly to the Quality Manager, will be focused on promoting and coordinating continuous improvement activities, including:

• Supporting and leading the implementation and management of a continuous improvement plan for the Product Quality department, closely collaborating with the Supplier Quality, Product Development Quality, and Process Quality teams.

• Developing standard metrics and specific KPIs aimed at managing departmental activities and accurately monitoring results to support productivity, efficiency, quality, and safety objectives.

• Supporting quality, engineering, and production teams in project development activities to reduce waste and variability in production processes.

• Collaborating closely with various teams on problem-solving activities, supporting and facilitating a structured and analytical approach to Lessons Learned.

• Ensuring the proper dissemination, knowledge, and standardization of quality methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, APQP) and involving and training the different teams involved in various processes.

REQUIREMENTS

• Technical degree, preferably in engineering;

• Minimum experience in production environments;

• 2-3 years of experience in a similar role (Quality, Data Analysis, and Continuous Improvement);

• Excellent knowledge of Office and Microsoft packages;

• Good knowledge/experience of key quality methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen);

• Good command of English;

• Proactivity, teamwork skills, analytical abilities, goal-oriented, and problem-solving skills.
