Gewiss, a leading player in the global electrical solutions market, is seeking a dynamic and experienced R&D Manager to lead our talented team of designers and product specialists.  In this pivotal role, you'll play a key role in shaping the future of e-mobility by driving the development of innovative products that meet the evolving needs of our customers.

What you'll do:

• Lead the Charge:  Become the mastermind behind our R&D team, providing strategic direction and guidance to designers and product specialists in both hardware and electrical engineering.  Own key initiatives and ensure they deliver impactful results.
• Chart the Course:  Co-Develop and co-manage a comprehensive roadmap together with Solution Manager for our product portfolio, ensuring releases align with business goals and deliver exceptional value.   Prioritize features based on customer feedback and market trends.
• Collaboration is Key:  Foster a culture of collaboration within your team and across departments. Work closely with digital and cross-functional teams to bring innovative new products, features, and enhancements to life.
• From Concept to Reality:  Oversee the entire service and solution development lifecycle, ensuring on-time delivery and exceeding customer expectations.
• Measure for Success:  Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and optimize programs.  Create compelling reports to communicate program performance to both internal and external stakeholders.

What you bring to the table:

• Mastermind of Innovation:  Hold an MSc in Engineering (Electronic preferred), business, or technology-related field.  Bonus points for experience in the Electric Vehicle Charging or Solar industry!
• Proven Track Record:  Boast at least 6 years of experience in a consultative role, managing complex projects, and/or successfully implementing products and solutions.
• Leadership Arsenal:  Demonstrate exceptional leadership in managing people, negotiation, problem-solving, and conflict-management skills.  You're a master at planning, delegating, and inspiring your team to achieve excellence.
• Tech-Savvy Leader:  Proficiency in a range of software tools, including CatiaV5, SAP, Igexao, Office 365, PLM Novia, Azure DevOps, Figma, Miro, Altium and Product Requirement Tools, is a must.
• The Communicator:  Express yourself clearly and confidently both verbally and in writing, in Italian and English.  Additional languages are a plus!
• Team Player:  Build strong relationships and foster open communication within your team.  Embrace a collaborative approach to achieving shared goals.
