Gewiss, a leading provider of advanced electrical and lighting systems, is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Area Sales Manager to join our team in Cluj Napoca or Timisoara.

 

Responsible for managing and developing distributor relationships to drive sales growth and market share. Key duties include:

  • Leading yearly negotiations with distributor stakeholders to define sales plans, targets, and commercial terms.

  • Monitoring stock orders, ensuring timely deliveries, and compliance with contracts.

  • Acting as a link between Gewiss and distributors to optimize product mix, campaigns, and market strategies.

  • Conducting regular distributor visits (70% travel) and identifying potential new partners.

  • Analyzing sales data, forecasts, and competition to adjust commercial conditions and increase profitability.

  • Providing technical product support and organizing distributor trainings in collaboration with technical teams.

  • Coordinating marketing initiatives and collecting market feedback.

  • Preparing reports and maintaining accurate CRM records to support management decisions.

  • Collaborates with the technical team for offer preparation and complex project offering
  • Claims and technical defects: acts as a link between the Gewiss customer and the Customer service and technical team to ensure that the claims are solved in a timely manner

 

Skills: 

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in technical sales (focus on electrical sales)
  • University degree or High school – Electrical Engineering – preferred
  • Soft skills: negotiation, communication, sales 
  • Software knowledge: Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • English: Medium
  • Driver’s license: B
