Within the strategic plan which aims to accelerate the ThinKNX presence and business on international markets, and on the other side to complete the Gewiss value proposition towards projects integrating the solutions from the 5 Business Units and with other third party ones, we’re looking for a ThinKNX Business Development Manager GCC, who will join the High Growth Region team, and will be in charge for the new business creation and management of ThinKNX, and the cooperation with the Gewiss people to drag each other into projects.

responsibilities
- Conduct Market assessment and analyze the current business and partners in the area, identify stakeholders and partners for future business.
- Develop Home & Building Automation (H&BA) by establishing relationship with main stakeholders, from system integrators, H&BA distributors, contractors, specifiers and end-users.
- Business development and new clients opening even through follow up of the market, competition, products, and prices.
- Create baseline to enable participating into projects across different verticals (residential, hospitality, commercial, office, etc.
- Sales generation and be responsible to drive annual target with strong value proposition that meets the customer requirements.
- Responsible for promoting technical, educational and commercial assistance to customers, with a view to ensuring a consulting service.
- Manage the technical value proposition on the project business and being able to support both the customers the technical deepening aspects of the products/solutions.
- The role will be responsible on driving “ThinKNX” sales in the HGR cluster. It will also be responsible to create synergies between the other business units within Gewiss while identifying and participating in projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical / Electronic)
- 5+ years of experience in a similar role
- Consultancy approach and experience in the “building” project business
- Technical background in electrical engineering, electronics and/or networks ideally supplemented by commercial training or experience
- Knowledge of the building automation market and solutions, with a focus on the integration software segment, standard (KNX) and proprietary protocols both on wired and wireless technologies.
- CRM platforms Experience
- Ability to work in a matrix organization
- English language is a must.
