Gewiss, a leading provider of advanced electrical and lighting systems, is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Developer – Lighting to join our team in Bucharest. This role is key to supporting our growth strategy in the Romanian market by promoting our lighting solutions in strategic construction and infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and develop new business opportunities within the lighting sector, targeting architects, designers, consultants, and developers
• Promote Gewiss lighting solutions and ensure their integration from the early stages of project planning
• Conduct lighting simulations (e.g., DIALux) and propose tailored solutions that align with client needs and project specifications
• Monitor ongoing projects to ensure proper implementation of specified solutions
• Collaborate closely with the technical and sales teams to support project success through to completion and invoicing
• Maintain accurate records and project tracking in the CRM system

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in the lighting or electrical equipment industry
• Technical background; a university degree in Engineering (Electrical preferred) is an advantage
• Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
• Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of DIALux is required; AutoCAD is a plus
• Valid category B driver’s license; willingness to travel within the assigned region
